{The Workshops}
The {ENJOY} Workshop talk to the business of wedding photography and photographing a wedding. This workshop includes a stylized group shoot with bride and groom models.
The {ENJOY} CREATIVE workshop covers post-production and creating incredible images. This workshop includes a stylized shoot with engagement or bridal models.

Both are held at our studio in Minneapolis.

Lisa & Seth had a beautiful wedding! I love all the details and they have such great style. The use of the purple is really beautiful also. My favorite part of the day was going to Hastings for the photos. And stopping off at the mini donuts truck. Everyone should have donuts on their wedding day! Congratulations and {ENJOY}!

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer {Rachel and Justin}

From the moment I met Rachel and Justin, I instantly liked them. They are lovely, relaxed, very put-together people. And, from the moment I learned their wedding was being designed by Amy Zaroff Events + Design I knew I would adore their wedding. This wedding was especially meaningful for Amy Zaroff as Justin is her cousin. The Chamber's Hotel in Minneapolis was such a beautiful location for getting ready and their reveal. I love how the gallery art adds to the images, not that you need anything else to look at besides this beautiful couple! Rachel was simply flawless! The reception was stunning. Everything from the color scheme to choice of linens to the incredible dessert bar by Cocoa & Fig built to a beautiful and memorable party. And, I loved the Turkey to Go food truck {owned by a couple of the groomsmen}. It was a great way to end the evening! All in all, it was a beautiful occasion and I was so honored to be a part of it! Both Carly {our Stylist} and I loved working with Laura and Paul! They are so sweet and laid back. We loved that they were up for anything and we're willing to bring their dogs and some special props! Carly and Laura decided to play up their love for their dogs, beer-brewing and cooking. I love the silly pictures with the brewing jugs and the ones of them on the couch with the apron, cookies and spring green vintage napkin. The napkin is the inspiration for Laura and Paul's wedding colors. It was Paul's grandmother's. So sweet! Best wishes, Laura and Paul! {ENJOY}

Minneapolis Engagement Photographer {Alexa & Zach}

We took Alexa and Zach's engagement session in the valley on Zach's beautiful farm in Stillwater. It was such an adventure and such a beautiful night! My stylist, Carly, and I rode in the back of Zach's truck through his rolling pasture. When we came to the second paddock where he kept his cattle, we walked down into this beautiful valley {which is where they're planning to have their wedding}. The cows weren't anywhere to be seen until Zach called for them. And, they came running! Who knew you could call cows! It was clear Zach has a special relationship with each of his animals. They all have names! I learned this when he told "Carolyn" to go away! I guess it's an honor to have a cow named after you in Zach's family! Anyhow...I had a great time. I loved the setting. I loved that they each have their own dog. The image of Pete {the white dog} makes me laugh! I loved how Alexa kept telling Zach to stop kissing her because Erin wasn't being paid to watch them make out! Actually, I think their make-out photos are some of the best. I really loved the farm, Zach and Alexa. I'd love to come back {maybe for a wedding?! Hint, hint!} Congratulations on your engagement and {ENJOY}

Minneapolis Engagement Photographer {Hallie & Kirby}

Hallie and Kirby invited me up to Collegeville, MN to take their engagement photos. It is such a darling, beautiful, romantic town with two college campuses. It's also where Hallie and Kirby met and started dating! Hallie told me about some of the schools' numerous traditions and folk-stories...one of which is how you will marry the boy you first walk to the chapel with. Well, you see where this is going! Hallie first walked to the chapel with Kirby! And, the chapel was also the site of the first time he told her he loved her! I love it! And, I love how the photos came out! {ENJOY}

I loved this family shoot! It was so fun to be with this family. After I took pictures of the little guy, I played around with the girls and had them direct the shoot a bit. I loved how Shannon and Ryan sincerely enjoyed their wedding day. They were so relaxed, and were up for anything to make great images. Despite the rain, which forced their ceremony inside the museum, I think we got some great shots both inside and out...even if I did have to stand in the rain to get a few! After the ceremony, the rain let up and we were able to take some photos outside and in the Mill City ruins. One of my favorite shots of the day is Shannon and Ryan in front of the giant Bisquick box. I've been trying to shoot there for a while, but didn't have a guide that allowed it. This time we were lucky and I love the results! Best wishes, Shannon and Ryan! {ENJOY}

The Bombay Sapphire Bartender Competition was such a great event! Four local bartenders competed to go on to the next sub-division in Las Vegas, and eventually the winner of that contest will go on to compete in London. Each bartender mixed their own wild recipes, for the judges and guests, using Bombay Sapphire's products and lots of fresh and interesting ingredients {see the bowl of spices, fruits and the RAW eggs!}. I had a great time watching the bartenders and the crowd was great! {ENJOY}

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer {Greta & Paul}

One of the MANY reasons I love what I do is I often work with lovely people, like Paul & Greta. Paul is super fun, goofy and full of enegry. I have the feeling his face betrays him, because he is so expressive {scroll down and you'll see what I mean}. Greta is so sweet, genuine and is a stunning bride. While the whole day was beautiful, I was especially touched when Paul saw Greta for the first time {what we call the reveal}. He was so clearly overcome with his feelings for Greta. He was so into checking out every detail from her hair and veil to earrings to shoes...and of course the dress. He was beyond taken and it was such a great moment! The day ended with a great party and some memorable Greek dancing! {ENJOY}

We we're thrilled to get a call from the Aveda Insitute in Minneapolis. They needed a few un-edited head-shots for their national contest for cut, color and make-up. I was really happy with the light we found to show off the hair and make-up. I think the colors look incredible right out of the camera. I hope these gals win! {ENJOY}
